BFC was contracted by a commercial bank in Tajikistan to perform the gap assessment of its credit operations with a focus on operational efficiency, risk management and customer service.
During the assessment, BFC reviewed the following areas:
- Management qualification and level of motivation
- Business planning
- Organizational structure
- Human resources
- MSE lending activity
- Loan products and customer service
- Lending policies and procedures
As a result, BFC’s gap assessment report summarized the observations and proposed recommendations for further development of the bank’s MSE lending operations.
