BFC will work alongside a dedicated team of senior and middle management staff from a prominent, medium-sized microfinance institution (MFI) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to develop energy efficiency financing, predominantly in currently underserved rural regions.
BFC will provide onsite and offsite consulting services to support the development of the client’s energy efficiency product line. This process will involve an assessment of the MFI’s current energy efficiency offering and the contemporary market context. The insights from these assessments will then form the basis of the development of new high-quality products, which are both innovative and technically-feasible for the institution, and a detailed marketing strategy. An in-depth action plan will also be drawn up so as to inform and support the MFI’s launch and long-term implementation of the products and strategy developed, a strategy that will both respond to today’s current climate, as well as being responsive to future market developments.
The project will conclude with a formal presentation of the finalised action plan and market assessment.
