Armenia Microlending Programme (AMP) is a downscaling project implemented by EBRD and financed by USAID. Under the project seven commercial banks in Armenia, including leading banks of the country receive long term technical assistance enabling them to set up efficient and customer oriented credit operations from scratch or improve their existing lending business.
BFC is providing technical assistance to partner banks in the following main areas:
- Human Resource Development;
- Microlending Products development;
- Creating competitive MSME lending procedures;
- Credit Scoring;
- Establishing efficient management information systems (MIS);
- Institution Building.
Following an international tender BFC was awarded a 20 months contract in September 2007.
