Assessment of Financing Needs of SMEs in Western Balkan Countries: Country Reports

assessmentreportWithin the framework of the European Investment Bank’s “Assessment of Financing Needs of SMEs in Western Balkan Countries” project, BFC experts presented country reports that examine the financing needs in Western Balkan countries and identify existing market failures which prevent SME access to finance.

The project was carried out between October 2015 and April 2016 by a team of three experts from BFC. Onsite visits were made to each country in order to facilitate deeper insights through meetings with representatives from financial institutions, development institutions, government organizations, and other experts in the SME sector.
