BFC is implementing and facilitating a pilot cross-border peer-to-peer exchange program for two MFIs of comparable size in Georgia and Azerbaijan. The program aims at fostering the institutional development and further growth of participating institutions by facilitating knowledge and experience exchange, with a special focus on strategic planning.

The overall objectives of the program are:

• Assist both MFIs in developing consistent development strategies for their institutions
• Facilitate an effective and efficient exchange of knowledge and experience between MFIs
• Enable MFIs to enhance their institutional development as a result of the assignment
